7:05 PM - "Subarashii Night at the Iron Pigs" - As our 2010 harvest begins, help us celebrate Subarashii Kudamono's own "season opener" during Subarshii Kudamono night at the Lehigh Valley's Iron Pigs. Enjoy minor league baseball at its finest during the final "fireworks night" of the baseball season at Allentown's CocaCola Park as the Iron Pigs take on the Buffalo Bisons. The first 5000 attendees will enjoy samples of our fresh, gourmet Asian Pears when entering the park. The first 1000 children attending the game will also receive a free Japanese-style headband ("hachimaki") to commerate the evening's game. The hachimaki displays both the Iron Pigs and Subarashii Kudamono logos! And a very special ceremonial pitch will open the evening's game! To learn more about Iron Pigs baseball, click here.

Noon to 4 PM - "Taste of the Lehigh Valley" Sample a fantastic gourmet dish made with our fresh Asian Pears along with other gourmet cusine as prepared by area growers and fine restaurants during "A Taste of the Lehigh Valley." Taking place at The Melt in Center Valley, PA this annual fundraiser builds continued awareness about the value of locally grown foods. "Taste of the Lehigh Valley" is hosted by the Lehigh Valley Chapter of "Buy Fresh Buy Local." "Pennsylvania Renewable Energy & Sustainable Living Festival" - Subarshii Kudamono helps promote awareness about sustainable and renewable energy resources during the 2010 "PA Energy Festvial" in Kempton, PA. Enjoy free samples of fresh and dried, gourmet Asian Pears when visiting our booth as well as learn more about ordering gift boxes of our fruit this fall season. During the festival, Subarashii will be teaming up with parent company Lutron Electronics. 2 PM to 4 PM - - Join Subarashii Kudamono to celebrate the official in-store debut of it Asian Pear Dessert Wine in Pennsylvania's Wine & Spirits Premium Collection Stores.  Stop the Wine & Spirits Shop in Easton (Lehigh Valley) to enjoy samples of "dessert in a glass" with this delicious, fortified dessert wine made with our  Asian Pears.   Also featured will be samples of Subarashii Kudamono's popular Asian Pear Wine. Event visitors will also be able to enjoy samples of a unique variety of fresh Asian Pears to pair with the wines.    Partnering with  Subarashii for this event will be Wegmans, located across the street from the Wine store, wherein event visitors can explore samples of other amazing varieties of Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pears. Sample 8 different varieties of our Gourmet Asian Pears during your self-guided tour of the 8 wineries along Berks County Wine Trail during their annual event. "Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing Event Weekend" features locally crafted artisan cheeses as well as award-winning Pennsyvlania wines. 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Join Subarashii as it cheers on thousands of women running for "the cure" during the Annual "Women's 5K Classic" in the Lehigh Valley. Runners and walkers for this race for the Cure will be refreshed with healthy samples of gourmet Asian Pears as they complete the race course. Taste Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pear Wines and Spirits at "Sake Fest!" As part of the Philadelphia Cherry Blossom Festival, this will be a delicious opportunity to taste our wines and spirits made from our Pennsylvania grown Asian Pears as well as other Asian sytle wines, spirits, and cocktails during this annual event.
